Privacy and data retention
Prosperity is operated by BH Cloud Labs Ltd (Company No. 16211348), a company registered in the United Kingdom. The bot handles a small amount of personal data and does so under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
This page is a plain summary. The authoritative documents are the full Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
The short version
- Prosperity stores levelling data: your Discord user ID, username, the servers you level in, your XP and level, and timestamps. See Intents and data for the full list.
- It does not store message content.
- Data is encrypted at rest, in line with the Discord Developer Policy.
- You can request deletion of your activity data at any time.
Requesting deletion
Email [email protected] with your request. Include the Discord account the data belongs to so it can be identified.
Retention
Levelling data is kept while the bot serves a server, because it represents ongoing progress rather than a transient record. This means it is retained for longer than 30 days.
